James W Shinkle was coined the Occasional Comic while living in Bozeman Montana. He had an interest in comedy but also really enjoyed dramatic plays. They say the Greek masks of comedy and tragedy inspired inspired the name but maybe it was a little nonsense.
After selling his house in Bozeman he returned to Chicago to train as an actor and then found the Old Town School of Folk music and learned how to play the mandolin.
Life is full of twists and turns and you never know where you might end up. Sometime life is serious but it’s important to have a sense of humor about it.
Never give up on yourself and try to inspire others when you can and remember to find the humor in all the chaos of your life.
